King Wilhelm-Rudolf von Elphberg

The late King Wilhelm-Rudolf Franz Josef von Elphberg was born on March 15, 1948. He came to the throne in 1959 following the tragic death of King Stephan and Queen Charlotte. After receiving a degree in Astrophysics, His Majesty became a pilot and flew with the United States Air Force for a short time. In 1970 he married Anastasia Sophia Maria Helena von Rubenroth, Princess Royal of Lutha. It is with great sadness that we announce his passing on May 17, 2010. Rumors persist that the Swiss Consortium was involved in his sudden and unexplained death.

Queen Anastasia Sophia Maria Helena von Elphberg

Her Majesty Queen Anastasia and King Wilhelm-Rudolf met at a reception aiding Ruritanian Houses of Worship. Their friendship and equal determination to assist in the preservation and defense of all religions, Churches, Synagogues, and Mosques everywhere, enabled them to meet frequently. These continued meetings led to romance and marriage between their two Houses. They were wed for 40 years and had never given up their defense of the freedom to worship or their love of the arts historical buildings or the People of the Kingdom.
