For his lifetime achievements in the arts and his continued fight against bigotry, Sir Mel is most deserving of the highest order of knighthood in Ruritania. We also wish to thank Sir Mel for his mention of Ruritania in his play Young Frankenstein. The title, Knight of the Royal Order of Henry the Lion, was created in 1710 by King Henry II, the order is traditionally awarded to courtiers who have accomplished some significant service for the Crown. Their badge is a gold lion.
